Prior to establishing Hard-Co Construction Ltd., Barry and Larry Harding learned their trade, the tradition of quality workmanship, and excellent customer service while working at George Harding Construction. Hard-Co has since grown into a firm employing a highly skilled workforce of over 110 individuals focused on the highest quality workmanship to ensure a superior level of service.
Hard-Co has successfully completed hundreds of projects in the fields of sewer and water mains, road construction, excavations, commercial and residential site servicing, and demolitions. In an effort to expand the services provided to our customers, Hard-Co has recently hired a highly experienced utility servicing crew and will now be able to provide underground utility and street light installations.
WE OPERATE A FLEET OF OVER 150 VEHICLES
Hard-Co owns and operates a fleet of over 150 vehicles and pieces of equipment suited for projects of any size and complexity. Hard-Co endeavours to be at the forefront of technology and prides itself on the size, quality and diversification of its modern fleet.
This pride shows itself in the level of maintenance that the fleet requires from our own mechanics and from the care shown by our well-trained operators in everyday use.
Throughout the past quarter century and continuing today, both the business ethics and commitment to quality workmanship have led Hard-Co into strong and meaningful relationships with our customers.

Lending Our Services
For the 2013 Christmas season, we decorated our 800 Excavator on site at the Oshawa Centre and lent it to Santa to help him out with those heavier presents!
We received the following email from an Oshawa Centre shopper:
"I would like to express my thanks to the kind person or persons who were responsible for decorating the piece of heavy equipment outside the Oshawa Centre. It truly brought some joy to the season! Especially after spending hours in the Mall shopping. Kudos to you, Hard-Co, you have won my respect for displaying some kindness over the Christmas season. I took pride in decorating my unit in the hospital where I worked for years, as I knew it brought a bit of joy to all involved, including our patients. I have been sidelined with a diagnosis of a brain tumour, so I am unable to do it anymore, but I do have time to thank people for making this world a better place to be. Your company has done that. I know thousands of people walk by your display and think to themselves "that's cool" but don't have time to Thank you, but I have been given the luxury of time to stop and Thank the people that think beyond themselves and take the time to spread some kindness, it has not gone unnoticed, keep up the good community work, it is appreciated!
